this is sooooooo AWESOME!
I absolutely love their monthly kits and
it is an honor to be able to design for them!

I don't actually start until the October kit- but I will be
eagerly (or impatiently!) waiting until then!!!!

An ETSY Announcement!

Have you missed me?
I know I have not been around much in the last couple weeks.
Every sickness out there has plagued my family and
I have not had a lot of scrapping or blogging time!
I think things are FINALLY on the mend and
I can concentrate more on my scrappy pursuits-
let me know what you are up to!

I have decided to open an ETSY store! I have been
making lots of my own embellishments lately and
I have decided to try and sell them too.
I HOPE to have the store up and running by the end of this week.

I made this layout specifically for the
"PURPLE CHALLENGE"
on the Moments 2 Remember message board.
One of the SQOTD asked the members which color was
hardest to use on their pages... and the overwhelming answer
was PURPLE! So I posed a challenge- make a page this week
using PURPLE as your main color focus!

Scrappin' Saturday

Oh my goodness!! I am a BLOG SLACKER this month! How are you guys? Is the summer flying by for you like it is for me???? Are you getting any scrapping done?

I have to confess- I have not scrapped much at all- and I miss it!! I organized my scrap area this morning and I am hoping for a long afternoon & evening of scrapping!
Matt is off on a 3 day fishing trip with the guys- so I am planning to SCRAP for the next 3 days to pass the time ;)

Itty Bitty Scrap Shack July Kit Reveal

I am so excited to reveal The July kit:
"Granny's Attic" featuring the 7 Gypsies "Nottinghill" Line!!
This kit is FABULOUS!!
I felt like a kid on Christmas morning when I got the kit in the mail
and opened it for the first time!
"OOOOOHHHHs" & "AAAAHHHHHs" were flying!

I have made 4 pages so far-
however 1 of them I am holding back until I reveal the
July Challenge on July 15th.
For now, you can see the other 3 pages-
I stuck mostly to the kit- there were so many goodies packed inside,
I really didn't need much else!

One thing I did add to almost every page was FABRIC!
This paper line just screams NOSTALGIA & VINTAGE to me-
and is paired perfectly with FABRIC & STITCHING!


"Ollie by the Sea"
I used "Bubble Wrap" stamping for the background on this,
and layered several different trims behind the picture.
I also used white paint for the frame around the picture and the paper.

"Jax Beach" (my hometown!)
This is actually a picture of me & my mom when I was a baby :)
I used fabric and stitching on here,
as well as Tim Hotlz distress ink on the tag.
I handmade the flower out of fabric and a vintage button.

"The Wild West"
This picture is so funny!!
My hubby & I went to St Augustine for Valentine's day in 2000,
and we got this picture made in one of the old time photo places.
I used FABRIC again on this page as well as Tim Holtz
distress ink on the sheet music and the ticket.

I still have SOOOO much left over-
I am sure I will be making several more pages from this kit.
I am really enjoying it!!!
