An ETSY Announcement!

Have you missed me?
I know I have not been around much in the last couple weeks.
Every sickness out there has plagued my family and
I have not had a lot of scrapping or blogging time!
I think things are FINALLY on the mend and
I can concentrate more on my scrappy pursuits-
let me know what you are up to!

I have decided to open an ETSY store! I have been
making lots of my own embellishments lately and
I have decided to try and sell them too.
I HOPE to have the store up and running by the end of this week.
There will be a special coupon for my blog readers and MB friends!!
I would love to have you stop by my new store!

Any scrapping going on???
I will leave you with a couple pages I made last week with the
It is a great kit for the 4th of July with products from
GCD studio and Scenic Route.

Some pages I made last week.....

"Simply Beautiful"
This is Anabelle when she was 2 months old.

This page was designed from a sketch found on the
Midnight Oil Scrapbook Designs blog.
Check them out!

I made this layout specifically for the
on the Moments 2 Remember message board.
One of the SQOTD asked the members which color was
hardest to use on their pages... and the overwhelming answer
was PURPLE! So I posed a challenge- make a page this week
using PURPLE as your main color focus!

***Blog readers- feel free to join this challenge too!***
Just make a NEW page using mostly the color purple,
and link it back here to this post by Sunday July 20th @ 11:59 pm.
One lucky person will WIN A RAK from me!
Have fun & use some purple!
"Mr & Mrs"
I love the "5th Avenue Sophia" line by Making Memories!
I used some of those products on this page featuring
my friend Katie on her wedding day.
This page was inspired by a creation from
Greta Hammond of the
Scarlet Lime Design Team.
Beautiful work Greta!!

That is all for now- HaPPy MOnDaY!!!

Itty Bitty Scrap Shack July Kit Reveal

I am so excited to reveal The July kit:
"Granny's Attic" featuring the 7 Gypsies "Nottinghill" Line!!
This kit is FABULOUS!!
I felt like a kid on Christmas morning when I got the kit in the mail
and opened it for the first time!
"OOOOOHHHHs" & "AAAAHHHHHs" were flying!

I have made 4 pages so far-
however 1 of them I am holding back until I reveal the
July Challenge on July 15th.
For now, you can see the other 3 pages-
I stuck mostly to the kit- there were so many goodies packed inside,
I really didn't need much else!

One thing I did add to almost every page was FABRIC!
This paper line just screams NOSTALGIA & VINTAGE to me-
and is paired perfectly with FABRIC & STITCHING!

"Ollie by the Sea"
I used "Bubble Wrap" stamping for the background on this,
and layered several different trims behind the picture.
I also used white paint for the frame around the picture and the paper.

items not in the kit: paint, ribbon, chipboard letters

"Jax Beach" (my hometown!)
This is actually a picture of me & my mom when I was a baby :)
I used fabric and stitching on here,
as well as Tim Hotlz distress ink on the tag.
I handmade the flower out of fabric and a vintage button.

items not in the kit: fabric, thread, button

"The Wild West"
This picture is so funny!!
My hubby & I went to St Augustine for Valentine's day in 2000,
and we got this picture made in one of the old time photo places.
I used FABRIC again on this page as well as Tim Holtz
distress ink on the sheet music and the ticket.

items not in the kit: ribbon, flower, brads & fabric

I still have SOOOO much left over-
I am sure I will be making several more pages from this kit.
I am really enjoying it!!!
Hurry over to Itty Bitty Scrap Shack today and get yours too!!
